Oakley Bearings & Transmissions Ltd, of Basingstoke, are a recent addition to our long list of users in the Bearings and Power Transmission Industry. 
Formed in 1987 as an independent bearings and transmissions supplier, they are now established as a leading provider of quality engineering products.  With 18 years experience, they offer technical advice on all bearing, transmission and related applications, across a diverse range of industries.
Andy Delve, the Managing Director, said?We pride ourselves on the friendly, helpful advice and service that we offer, but we felt we needed a better stock control and administrative system to back up our knowledge. Our previous Pegasus System couldn?t provide us with the instant sales and stock information that we needed when a customer called, which is why we contacted BLCS.

A four-user network has, initially, been implemented, with a full conversion of the Pegasus data performed immediately prior to going live on MAP4. 
Oakley took advantage of our stock profile, providing them with in excess of 20,000 stock items from day one . Such has been the success of the implementation, Oakley have recently moved to new, larger premises to support their continued growth.
